Phang Nga Bay Punyee Island History?
A: In the past, Koh Panyee was a small village on a small island with an area of approximately 1 rai and had approximately 200 houses. Most of the people were Muslim. The main occupation is fishing. Due to its island geography and being in a tourist destination that is rich in various species of mangrove plants and wildlife. As a result, the current population of the island has a career in trading such as souvenirs, pearls and many things from marine products. And there is a small business related to tourism such as restaurants and homestays.
The geographic characteristics of the area is a limestone mountain that is tall and wide. It can block wind waves very well. There is a shoal of sand that was deposited until it became a flat surface. It is home to 4 small villages creating a variety amidst nature, surrounded by small and large islands in the sea and mangrove forests of Ao Phang Nga National Park. Koh Punyee's Ancestors were three Javanese families who immigrated from Indonesia on three sailboats at the end of the 18th century and agreed that if a suitable area was found, plant a flag as a symbol. The word "Pulau Panji" means "flag" when they settle on this island. They have lived their lives under the Islamic cultural context for more than 300 years

The village is located in front of a high limestone mountain. The ground at the foot of the mountain is approximately 1 rai. The people of Koh Panyee use it as a common area of the village. It is the cemetery area and the location of the Darussalam Mosque. The construction is a two-story building. The top of the dome has a striking golden color and is elegant. The interior of the building is decorated with marble.
The nature of the sea is conducive to shallow-water fishing, raising cockles, raising fish in cages. It is the main income of the villagers, but when a lot of tourists come to visit, the villagers will turn to additional employees to support the whole restaurant, a boat driver and sell souvenirs. Therefore, most products are dried and processed seafood. Also, Koh Panyee is also a very famous production area for jewelry made from pearl shells and pearls. What activities or places are there to visit in Phang Nga?
A: The marine attractions of the Andaman Sea are not only the ones that are popular and famous. Besides the sea, there is also a national park which is a very rich tropical forest which is our main tourist attraction. And an activity that cannot be missed is white water rafting. Today we will take everybody to get to know and experience white water rafting. And other activities that inside our package with rafting are as follows:
Tham Suwan Khuha Temple
During the rafting trip, we will take everybody to visit the Golden Buddha Temple at Tham Suwan Khuha Temple. It is a famous temple in Phang Nga Province. There was a golden statue of Buddha lying down there. And it's a temple with a lot of monkeys. However, you should be careful when approaching and do not play with or touch the monkeys, for safety from animal attacks.
We are going on to the white-water rafting camp. All activities will be rotated as appropriate by the staff team. Here we will introduce each activity of each base as follows:
White-Water Rafting
A fun and exciting activity that gets your adrenaline flowing! That is a white-water rafting. Add a taste of color and excitement with 5 kilometers of white-water rafting on the river from Ton Pariwat Waterfall. Don't worry if you've never rafted before. Because we have a short guide about rafting and safety before rafting. There is also rafting equipment available to support everyone.
ATV Riding
The second activity is riding an ATV through the forest on a nature trail. Along the way, you will drive through a tropical forest. With an area complicated with mounds, hills, and forests, you may also encounter wild animals. You'll have a lot of fun riding an ATV for 30 minutes, but riders must be 16 years of age and over for this activity. Children under that age must be accompanied by a parent.
Zipline
The third activity is Zipline. Adds a challenge with a 250 meters zipline in the middle of beautiful forest scenery.
Elephant Trekking
The fourth activity is elephant trekking. You will experience trekking on an elephant. and experience their cuteness and intelligence. You may be able to do elephant bathing at the same time. It's something that you can't miss.

Sa Nang Manora Forest Park
On the way back to the accommodation, we will take everybody, visit the water at Sa Nang Manora Forest Park. They believed in Sa Nang Manora Waterfall. It is an old waterfall divided into tiers. And each level has Nang Manora where you can take a bath. In Thai legend, Nang Manora is a beautiful woman whose top half is a beautiful woman and bottom half is a bird named Manora. It is a mysterious thing in the Himmaphan world (Garden of Eden). Therefore, the waterfall was named Sa Nang Manora.

Children under 7 years of age or height not exceeding 120 centimeters are not allowed to participate in rafting and ziplining activities.
